הפרוטוקול שלפניך הוא גרסת הביטא של דיאלוגיט, והוא משלב לתוכו רעיונות וכלים משלושה תחומים: ייעוץ עמיתים (Co-counseling), התמקדות (Focusing), ותקשורת המקרבת (NVC). הפרוטוקול הינו בקוד פתוח, וניתן לקרוא על החירויות והמגבלות שלו בנספח בסוף החוברת ('Dialogit Protocol License'). ברוח גישת הקוד הפתוח, כל גרסה של הפרוטוקול מהווה מעין 'טיוטה', במובן זה שהפרוטוקול נמצא בתהליך פיתוח מתמשך ויחולו בו עם הזמן שינויים ושיפורים. נשמח לשמוע מה דעתך על הפרוטוקול וללמוד מחוויותיך בעקבותיו. ניתן לכתוב לדיאלוגיט בכתובת האימייל: .
כפרוייקט 'קוד פתוח', לדיאלוגיט רישיון זכויות יוצרים המכונה copy-left. הרישיון של דיאלוגיט מכיל דמיון רב לרישיון קוד-פתוח בסגנון Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike, אך בוצעו בו שינויים על מנת להתאים למאפיינים היחודיים של דיאלוגיט. להלן תמצית הרישיון, לפני כל שימוש בפרוטוקול יש לקרוא את הרישיון המלא אשר נמצא בנספחים ונקרא Dialogit Protocol License.
